Hey, It's Curtis & Matthew 👋

In 2022, our careers in marketing and IT weren't fulfilling our desire to leave the world better than we found it.

Led by the belief, "A business that prioritizes social impact could be equally if not more profitable," we left our jobs to start Rooted Insight.

Saying goodbye to six-figure salaries and the safety net of full-time pay was incredibly challenging. We quickly had to solve three big problems:

1. Find paying customers who shared our values
2. Pay ourselves enough to live while investing in the business
3. Stay mission-driven while growing a sustainable business

The first year kicked our butts, but our hard work paid off as revenue skyrocketed in the second year. Now, in 2024, we're back to six figures, growing sustainably, and investing in our personal growth with coaches, books, and more. Most importantly, we now work with impactful clients that inspire us every day, and automatically allocate 10% of our own revenue towards impact initiatives.
