A reader's status lives in several systems and none is the source of truth. A reader pays in one place, gets access from another, and nothing settles which is right. This is entitlement drift.

Do I have to start with a Systems Map?

Yes, unless you already have an equivalent. A build is scoped against findings, not guesses.

What do I own after a Systems Map?

The written map and its findings, outright. It works even if someone else builds from it.

What access do you need to our systems?

Read-only access to the systems that hold reader records, and nothing beyond them. You create a viewer or read-only login for me in each system, so no passwords are shared. Reader data stays in your systems, and you remove my access when the read-out is done.

What does it cost?

Systems Map: $2,000, fixed scope. Resolution Build: $6,000–$12,000, quoted against the map. Standing Integration Seat: a monthly retainer. The full Systems Map fee is credited toward a Resolution Build that starts within 60 days of the read-out.

What if we stop the retainer?

Everything keeps running. Builds are handed over with runbooks, alerts and an admin view for common fixes, so your staff could run things for 90 days without me. The retainer pays for early warning and fixes when platforms change, not for keeping things alive.

Who do I work with?

Me, Matthew Fisher. You work with me directly. When a project needs a designer or another specialist, I bring them in.

Do you only work with publishers?

Right now, mostly independent publishers. The same problem shows up anywhere people have an ongoing relationship with an organization: donors, members, clients. If that sounds like you, the work is the same.
